FAQ

  • Where are you based?

Not Too Sweet Cake Co. is a registered home kitchen based out of Endicott, NY. All of our products are handmade to order, so custom orders are welcome, and orders of any size can be accommodated with adequate notice.

You can find my sweets at my family restaurant: Pho Nhu-Y Vietnamese Restaurant located at 219 Main St. Binghamton, NY 13905.

  • I'm Celiac, can I have your treats?

Yes and no. My kitchen is NOT completely Gluten-Free, however special measures are taken to ensure that there is no cross contamination when it comes to ingredient storage, utensils, bowls, tools, etc. Surfaces are disinfected before and after use. If you know that even one speck of gluten will trigger your symptoms, please purchase your food from a dedicated GF commercial kitchen. I will not be responsible for your health-related decisions.

I am gluten intolerant, and I’ve had many customers who have Celiac disease enjoy my treats with no problems. Please use your own discretion and enjoy carefully - I cannot guarantee ZERO cross contamination and cannot verify the process and conditions certain commercially produced ingredients are made in, regardless of their labels (such as “Certified Gluten-Free, “Certified Allergen-Free”, or “Certified Vegan”).

  • I'm Vegan, is everything you make vegan?

Yes! Everything is certified vegan, even our marshmallows. All recipes are dairy-free, lactose-free, animal-product free.

I use Land O Lake Plant Butter with Olive or Avocado Oil, Bob’s Red Mill Egg Replacer, and Coconut Milk/Cream.

Our fudge is made with certified GF and Vegan Belgian and German Chocolates.

  • I want a special flavor combination. Do you make custom orders?

Absolutely! All of our sweets are made to order, so customization is a possibility with adequate notice and ingredient availability.

Send me a message on my Contact page and we can work together to bring your unique flavor cravings to life!

  • How can I get you in a local cafe near me?

    Thank you for your support!

Following and sharing my business page with your local cafes would be the best way OR send me a message on my Contact page with the name and location of your favorite cafe and I’ll reach out myself.

My treats are only available in New York at this time.

  • What's your return/refund/exchange policy?

Due to the nature of my products, no returns, refunds, or exchanges will be issued under any circumstances.

My ingredients are top quality, certified gluten free and vegan, which cost anywhere from 2-5x the price of regular fudge or cake making ingredients. For example, regular dark chocolate is $4/pound while GF/V Belgian Dark chocolate is $12/pound.

However, if my products arrive spoiled, items are missing, or the order is wrong, I will 1000% work with you on the best solution that suits your situation. No refunds will be given for lost or stolen packages - please double check your address before submitting an order.

Thank you so much for understanding!

  • How do I know which delivery method to choose?

I work 2.5 jobs currently, so please bear with me. I am very flexible and will work with you, even if it means I have to drop off an order after work at 10pm!

    I offer the following:

USPS Ground Advantage Delivery within NYS only - varies by weight. If you are more than 30 minutes from Endicott, NY, I’d recommend this option.

Local Pick-Up: Available most Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 12-3pm, but varies based on my schedule that week. If you are near 219 Main St or 114 Odell Ave, pick this option and we can work on what time will work best for both of us to meet up.

Local Delivery: I personally deliver your treats for a fee, depending on my travel distance. If you are between 1-30 minutes from Rossi’s Pizza in Endicott, NY, choose one of the appropriate options I have available. If it’s too far or I feel like you’ve over or under paid, I’ll message you to work out the difference.

  • Do you take bulk/special event orders?

Absolutely! Weddings, wedding favors, Bachelorette parties, birthday parties, office party, any event you can think of would be made better with beautifully packaged, decadent, AND allergen friendly fudge. Just send me a message on my Contact page to start planning! I offer simple custom stickers, decor, and color coordination for packaging as well as an upgrade.

    Bulk/Custom Orders Policy:

Large custom orders (5lbs+ or 10+ boxes) require at least 5 business days of prior notice. Any orders 20 boxes or over will require at least 10 business days of prior notice. Rush orders will be accepted if possible and will incur a flat Rush Fee of $50, which would cover express shipping on ingredients and priority over current orders. Rush Orders must be paid 100% before

A non-refundable 50% deposit will be required prior to finalizing your order and before any goods are made. The remaining 50% of payment must be made before or upon delivery.

I accept CC or Cash, or I can invoice you via my website nottoosweetcakeco.com. All transactions incur NYS and Broome County taxes as well as a delivery fee depending on size and distance of the order.

Please note, as a NYS cottage baker I am not allowed to cater events such as weddings or parties, however you can purchase my goods in bulk and display them/consume them under whatever circumstances you see fit. They are vegan and can be left at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, and in the fridge for up to 3 weeks, making it easy to plan ahead for your next event.
